Sophware was established in 2024 to provide specialized software required in the environmental field for assistance to engineers, scientists and operators dealing with compliance to regulations, and to structural engineers dealing with design of communications towers and similar slender structures.
Dr. Boris Weisman, PhD has been consulting in the areas of Atmospheric Physics and Meteorology for 50 years and developing software for dispersion modeling, forecast based controls for industrial operations, statistical assessment of operational hazards including extreme wind and ice site assessment, climate change assessment, and environmental regulation consulting to a range of industries and government agencies.
Using extensive experience with modeler and operator issues in meeting regulations, Dr. Weisman has developed software for use operationally within industry to deal with design of structures, air pollution regulation in terms of emission inventory development and modeling of facility impacts, and climate change impacts.
